C-Light is a complete system for generating 3D pictures and animations. The C-Light 3D editor allows complex scenes to be created quickly by combining simple shapes (spheres, cubes, and cylinders) which can be stretched, squashed, and rotated. Some of C-Light's features are:

  • Real Time 3D animation - create fast changing, moving pictures.
  • Easy 3D scene editor for creating and changing scenes.
  • True Shadows.
  • Multiple light sources.
  • Mirror surfaces.
  • Stereoscopic 3D for pictures that jump out of the screen (with special LCD glasses.)
  • Rotate and move scene to see from any angle or zoom in and out.
  • Fisheye and telephoto effects.
  • Source Code is include. You can enhance and change it any way you like. Written for the Lattice C compiler. (Contact me about selling your version.)
  • Pictures in standard IFF format including overscan and interlaced. (Easily converted to GIF or JPEG.)
  • Intuition based user interface. Most operations done with just the mouse.
  • Extensive documentation.
  • Tutorials to help you begin quickly.
  • Example program source code included for creating scene files from your own programs.
  • Multitasks.
  • Runs from Workbench or command line.
  • Both USA and PAL compatable.
  • Great for creating Web graphics, icons, and images.

Includes Scene Editor, Ray Tracer, Picture Viewers, Animation Creator, Animation Player, User Manual, Examples, Tutorials, and Source Code all contained on four floppy disks.

    Requirements: Amiga 500, 600, 1000, 2000, 2500. WB1.2 or WB1.3. 512K RAM minimum.
C-Light will NOT currently run under WB2.04 or greater due to a difference in the way overscan is handled. I've got a solution and I'm working on it.
